Over 50 Professionals Across 17 Industries Already Enrolled in Program
MICROSOFT WORLDWIDE PARTNER CONFERENCE, NEW ORLEANS -- July 13, 2009 -- PreEmptive Solutions, the leading provider of solutions to protect, monitor and manage software development investments, announced today that over 50 professionals already have enrolled in PreEmptive Solutions' new Application Analytics and Injection Training Program, a multi-part training program designed to impart the skills required to develop applications that incorporate the analytics and injection services included with Microsoft Visual Studio® 2010 and the Dotfuscator® Suite.
Federal agencies, banking, pharmaceutical, energy, education and telecommunications organizations as well as ISVs and systems integrators are each represented among the initial group of development organizations wanting to establish competency in this emerging development discipline.

The training is divided into three parts:
- Part I—Use cases: a 45-minute webinar that covers how instrumentation and injection facilitates beta management, customer experience improvement, application inventory management and business performance management.
- Part II—Tutorial: a 60-minute webinar covering configuration and integration steps required to leverage analytics and instrumentation technologies.
- Part III: a hands-on exercise in which participants have two weeks to apply what they have learned on an application provided either by PreEmptive Solutions or an application of their choice.
- Configure post-build analytic and instrumentation steps within Visual Studio and the Dotfuscator Suite;
- Identify methods, components and applications to be monitored;
- Activate tamper detection and defense services;
- Configure custom behaviors within applications across all post-build services;
- Customize application runtime data fields;
- Export runtime intelligence data cubes; and
- Track multiple applications and versions of applications.
